If a movie doesn’t pass it, even if it’s great, there won’t be any inward pull for me to want to see it. This is called projection, I at least need to know its an actual real universe. A movie just feels really weird if it doesn’t pass the Bechdel test, like its not grounded in reality and its just this inward sense that the movie is somehow boring. Just an overall sense that can be hard to pinpoint at the time.
Examples of Movies / TV Shows I love:
Alien (I had the boxset)
Star Trek (I’ve seen Star Trek The Original Series, The Animated Series, and The Next Generation)
One Piece (havent seen past episode 770ish, dont give me spoilers, I’ll binge watch it again at some point). [Chopper and Law are my favourite characters].
Generally movies that house a huge amount of information is my preference.
V For Vendetta (2006)
The Matrix (series) (Animatrix is likely my favourite)
How Big Oil Conquered The World (2015)
Four Horsemen (2013)
Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead (2010)
Maafa 21: Black Genocide in 21st Century America (2009)
The Union: The Business Behind Getting High (2008)
What The Bleep Do We Know? (2004)
Zeitgeist, the Movie (2007), Zeitgeist, Addendum (2008), and Zeitgeist, Moving Forward (2011)
Burzynski, The Movie (2010)
Forks Over Knives (2011)
The Great Year (2004)
